Questions

What doctors ask before switching

Docxion listens to the doctor–patient conversation in real time in any Indian language — Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, English and more. Clinical domain models process the audio live and write structured symptoms, vitals, diagnosis and prescription medications straight into your OPD consult sheet. You review and sign every note before it enters the record — the draft is never filed on your behalf.

You catch it, because nothing is saved until you sign it. Docxion produces a draft and puts it in front of you; the medicine, dose, frequency and duration are all editable, and the consultation cannot be filed until the doctor approves it. There is no setting, no plan and no workflow in which the AI writes to a patient record on its own. The scribe removes the typing, not the doctor — every note in your record is one you read and signed.

No. Speak to the patient the way you already do and the note is drafted for you — symptoms, vitals, diagnosis and prescription, structured into the consult sheet. Your keyboard is for corrections and for the occasional line you want to phrase yourself. Most doctors touch it a few times a day rather than a few times a patient.

Four. Ambient voice scribe, structured form fields, digital pen canvas drawing (with a stylus, or mouse and touch as a fallback), or photo and PDF upload. You can switch between them mid-consultation.

The ambient scribe transcribes in the cloud, so it needs a working connection while you consult — on a patchy line it will interrupt rather than degrade quietly. We would rather you knew that before signing than discovered it with a patient in the room. If your OPD hours run on unreliable connectivity, use the structured form or the digital pen canvas for those sessions, or tell us during the onboarding call and we will be honest about whether Docxion suits your setup.

No. Your consultations are processed to produce your notes and nothing else. Patient audio and records are not used to train models, are not pooled across clinics, and are not sold or shared for any secondary purpose. Records are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and isolated per practice by PostgreSQL row-level security.

Docxion is built on PostgreSQL Row Level Security and AES-256 vault encryption, enforcing organization-level patient data isolation, with TLS 1.3 on every connection. It is built to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — purpose limitation and patient consent records by default. Our own SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress and we will publish the auditor, observation period and report when it completes, not before; the underlying Supabase infrastructure is separately certified, but that is our host’s certification rather than ours. ABDM support is on the roadmap and not yet shipped.

You keep them. When a subscription ends your account moves to read-only — every consultation, prescription and report stays visible, and you can export the whole record set to PDF or CSV at any time, including after you have left. We do not delete clinical records and we do not lock a doctor out of them to force a renewal.

Yes. Every plan includes two staff accounts alongside the doctor, and access is role-based: front-desk staff can run the appointment queue, register patients and handle billing without opening consultation notes. On the Hospital & Polyclinic plan you can define permission sets per department and per branch.

Partly, and we help. Past prescriptions and reports can be photographed or uploaded as PDFs into a patient’s file vault, where they are readable in context during the next consultation. Your onboarding call includes setting up your clinic and entering your first 20 patients with you, so the migration starts with a human rather than an import screen.

You get full, unrestricted access to Docxion free for your first 100 patients or 30 days, whichever comes first — no credit card. You will see a running counter of both inside the app, so the end never arrives as a surprise. When the trial ends you pick a plan or walk away, and either way your records stay yours and exportable.

The Pro AI plan includes up to 750 scribed consultations per doctor per month — roughly 34 patients a day, every working day, which clears the overwhelming majority of solo practices. It is a fair-use ceiling, not a meter: we notify you at 80%, and if you reach 100% the founder calls you to sort out a plan that fits. There is no hard cut-off in the middle of a consultation. You will never discover a limit with a patient in the room.

Our first 20 clinics pay a founding rate — ₹699/month for Digital OPD and ₹1,699/month for Pro AI — and that rate is locked for as long as you stay subscribed. It does not rise at renewal. The programme stops at 20 because we onboard each founding clinic personally and that genuinely does not scale further. All prices are inclusive of GST and a GST invoice is issued for every payment.

Select a recipient roster — patients, doctors or staff — and send pre-filled templates such as appointment reminders, health camp alerts or lab report notifications through 1-click links. Replies land in your official clinic WhatsApp account.

Yes. The Multi-Specialty & Hospital plan lets polyclinics and multi-specialty centers manage multi-doctor shift rosters, department permissions, and consolidated practice analytics across branches.
